Make sure your story gets remembered!
In 2018, The Wall Street Journal reported that with the number of college applications skyrocketing, the average admissions reader at selective colleges reads over 500 files a day, spending less than 8 minutes per file
Welcome
My name is Meghan Bass
I've personally read well over 20,000 personal statements, written essay prompts and developed the guidelines deciding committees use in evaluation. For over 15 years I've worked in admissions committees and with career management offices at institutions such as Fordham University, Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
My process is holistic and customized. No two students are the same, but everyone has a story to tell. I know what stands out and what gets skimmed over in the process, but my real goal is to help you to create essays that empower you and show you your worth.

Helping high school students and recent graduates prepare their essays and resumes for their next chapter is my passion!

"Meghan was such a pleasure to work with! She really made my kids dig deep and write about things that were relevant to themselves and the times we are living in. The hard work paid off, my son is graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and my daughter is a freshman at the University of Wisconsin. I highly recommend Meghan!"
Student, Echols Scholar and Jefferson Scholarship recipient
"I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help! I honestly think that in the college application process the essays are probably one of the most important parts towards the full application. Having the chance to both work with you and hear feedback on how to better structure and word my essays has definitely been invaluable. I definitely would not have the opportunities that I am currently getting without your help!"

"Thank you so very much for all your time & all the amazing help you provided for my daughter! So far she has been accepted to University of Virginia, University of Richmond, Penn State and University of Delaware. I can’t tell you how much Taylor raved about all the great suggestions and guidance you provided her!"
